Even though there's a handful of interesting things coming out this week, like Chronicle, two Tezuka Unico films, Criterion's release of Being John Malkovich, and a spaghetti western double feature on blu-ray, the most important thing here is The Grey, in which you can see Liam Neeson fight wolves and a bear with his bare hands. Yes, it's bad-ass. Check out all of this week's releases HERE. - KamuiX & Obscureness

I'm a bit late this week. A little under the weather currently, and I was about to leave you all high and dry to fret over your comic book buying decisions this week, but then I remembered that these companies write a synopsis for all of their releases and I could half ass it by letting them tell you about the books! Check them out HERE. - KamuiX

If you're more into graphic novels over buying books monthly, this week's column won't have much for you, but for everyone else, this is a huge week. Get ready for author China Miéville's comic book debut, Morning Glories cover artist Rodin Esquejo's debut as an interior artist, the resurrection of Valiant comics, the return of yet another pulp icon, and some epic killing! See it all by clicking HERE. - KamuiX

You could probably use a breather after last week's stacked slate of new releases, and unless you're in the market for multi-film Blu-Ray releases, you'll get one. Although it's great to see some more H.G. Lewis on Blu-Ray, especially the awesome Wizard of Gore. But is there a Z-grade diamond in the rough this week in the form of Rise of the Animals? Just look at that cover! Get the full list HERE. - KamuiX & Obscureness

Remember back about a year ago when I posted a couple films from aspiring director Michael Bonomo? Well, he's ready to try his hand at a feature-length film in the form of Assassins. Along with writer David Grant, they're currently raising money for the film on IndieGoGo, and if you want, you can donate by going HERE. Oh, you'd like to know if this is something worth donating to first? Well, how about watching the short film they did to help raise awareness? You can check that out HERE. And you really should, as it's a solid piece of short-form cinema and features a great performance by lead actor Bill Oberst, Jr., who's also slated to star in the feature-length version. If you like the short, help keep indie cinema alive and throw a few buck their way...it's gotta turn out better than 90% of what Hollywood is crapping out these days. Have you SEEN the trailer for Battleship?! - KamuiX

Wolverine and Captain America provide a solid jumping-on point, Neil Gaiman's first ever American comic work is reprinted, and a less than prominent member of the Marvel U gets a second chance in the spotlight.
